The Shelly Fundamentals course introduces the Shelly ecosystem and shows how smart devices can make homes and offices more convenient, efficient, and comfortable.

Participants will learn what Shelly devices do, how to set them up, and how to control them using the Shelly app and Web UI. Through practical examples and demonstrations, the course focuses on simple real-life use cases such as lighting automation, motion-based control, and energy monitoring.

What is the deadline for enrolling in the course and when does it start?

Enrollment in the course is open until 30 April. The training starts on 27 April 2026. You can find a detailed schedule of classes in the Topics section.

How and where are the classes held?

The classes are online in real time every day from Tuesday to Friday. Each lesson starts at 6:00 PM Central European Time (CEST) and lasts 2.5 to 3 hours.

To determine the start date and time of the lessons, please convert the date and time to your local time zone.

For example 6:00 PM CEST is:
Sofia, Bulgaria (EEST) - 7:00 PM
Berlin, Germany (CEST) - 6:00 PM
Rome, Italy (CEST) - 6:00 PM
Washington, D.C., USA (EDT) - 12:00 PM

After each lesson, you get access to the lesson recording and learning resources.

Do I receive a certificate after the course?

At the end of the course, you receive an official certificate from SoftUni Global and Shelly Academy.

Do I have to buy a Shelly device to attend the course?

No, you do NOT have to purchase a device to sign up for the course. However, for a better course experience we recommend having at least some of the following devices:

• Energy Monitoring - Shelly EM, 1PM, 2PM, Shelly Plug / Plug S
